Irving Berlin's White Christmas – Loved all over the world

In October 1954 one of the most enduringly popular festive movies scored a huge hit on the silver screen. It was Irving Berlin's dazzling musical movie, White Christmas, and we've adored it ever since with its fun plot, romantic edge, and of course the magical, wonderful music. Now it's in the West End, ready to thrill British audiences all over again at the magnificent Dominion theatre.

This is a truly heart warming romantic comedy suitable for anyone aged over seven years old. The show tunes are epic and memorable, including Blue Skies, Sisters, and of course, the seasonal tune to end all seasonal tunes, White Christmas itself. The music and lyrics are by Irving Berlin, and there's a book by David Ives and Paul Blake.

The show is directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, and beautifully choreographed by the twice Olivier Award-winner Stephen Mear. The sets come from the talented Michael Taylor and the costumes by Diego Pitarch. Stephen Brooker is responsible for musical supervision and the lighting comes from Mark Henderson. Tom Marshall has created the sound, and orchestrations come from Larry Blank. New musical arrangements come from Jason Carr and the whole thing is presented by Concord Theatricals for R&H Theatricals. You, the audience, supplies the laughs, the tears and the sing-alongs!

Danny Mac played Bob Wallace and Dan Burton played Phil Davis at Curve in Leicester, now they're set to reprise their roles for audiences in the capital. Mac won accolades for a recent tour of Sunset Boulevard, playing Joe Gillis. Gabey has wowed audiences in On The Town at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and in the West End production of Wicked, as well as Legally Blonde and BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing. And the excellent Dan Burton was nominated for an Olivier as Tulsa in Gypsy at the Savoy theatre, plus Jersey Boys, The Pajama Game, Chicago, Betty Blue Eyes and Guys and Dolls.

What a treat for the coming festive season. This is a proper feel-good Christmas classic designed to delight, created for you to fall in love with, sing along to and remember for years to come. It stars Jamie Wilson, Mark Goucher, Gavin Kalin and Kevin Mccollum, along with Jason Haigh-Ellery, Laurence Myers, Colin Ingram and Peter Kane. It's created by Intheatre Productions And Curve, and you only have a limited season to enjoy, so grab tickets while you can.

The plot? Singers Bob Wallace, originally played by Bing Crosby, and Phil Davis, originally portrayed by Danny Kaye, have returned from fighting in the Second World War. They join up with sisters Betty and Judy Haynes to put on a special Christmas show in rural Vermont, USA. The venue is owned by General Waverly, who commanded the men in World War Two, and it's in big financial trouble. The team's very own Christmas miracle sees them saving the inn and saving General Waverley. It's a heavenly seasonal musical romp you won't want to miss!
